1. Eligibility & Authorized Users

The Service is intended for use only by adults, including:

• Dance studio owners, administrators, and staff
• Parents or legal guardians acting on behalf of their children

Children under the age of 13 may not create accounts or directly access the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Sequin provides a centralized platform that allows dance studios to:

• Organize and manage recital costume orders
• Collect costume measurements
• Communicate with parents
• Facilitate payments through a third-party payment processor

Parents receive secure access links to submit measurements and complete purchases for their child.

3. Accounts & Access

3.1 Dance Studio Accounts

Dance studios are responsible for:

• Ensuring all information entered into the Service is accurate and lawful
• Maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials
• Managing staff access and permissions

3.2 Parent Portal Access

Parent access is provided via secure, encrypted links:

• Each link is unique and tied to the recipient's email address or phone number
• Links expire after a limited time
• Links may be revoked or regenerated by the dance studio
• Links cannot be accessed unless the recipient's contact information matches the original delivery method

Parents are responsible for safeguarding their access links.

4. Payments

All payments are processed through Stripe, a third-party payment processor.

• Sequin does not store payment card information
• Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks are governed by Stripe's terms and the applicable dance studio's policies
• Sequin is not responsible for payment processing errors caused by third parties

5. User Responsibilities

Dance Studios are responsible for:

• Entering and maintaining accurate parent and child information in the Service
• Review and confirm costume selections, submitted measurements, and final sizing decisions prior to placing orders. Any size recommendations are informational only and based on third-party sizing charts; final responsibility for confirming correct sizes rests with the dance studio.

Parents or Legal Guardians are responsible for:

• Providing accurate costume measurements for their child
• Reviewing order details made available through the Service before submission

Sequin is not responsible for errors resulting from incorrect information submitted by users.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
• Interfere with platform security or functionality
• Upload malicious or harmful code
• Use the Service in violation of applicable laws

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

All software, content, designs, trademarks, and branding associated with Sequin are owned by or licensed to Sequin.

No rights are granted except as expressly stated. Unauthorized use is prohibited.

8. Service Availability

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis.

Sequin may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available."

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sequin disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Sequin shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Sequin's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid to Sequin in the prior twelve (12) months, if any

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sequin from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Information you submit through the platform

12. Termination

Sequin may suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for violations of these Terms.

Termination does not relieve obligations incurred prior to termination.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updates will be posted on the Service and reflected by a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
